Minna Reichenbach was born in Hohenems on January 1, 1828 as the daughter of Martin Löb Reichenbach and Babette Salomon. Her father worked as a poulterer and peddler. She was the sixth of nine children, at least three of whom died early. In 1852 a daughter was born: Helene Reichenbach. But otherwise we know little about her. At some point she emigrated from Hohenems. The date of her death is unknown.
