Klara Löwenberg (1886–1941), Nurse
Klara Löwenberg was born in Hohenems on April 22, 1886, the daughter of Josef Löwenberg and Betti Guggenheim. During the First World War she worked as a nurse in Innsbruck and Landeck. From 1918 she lived in Hohenems again and worked as a nurse and drawing teacher. In 1929 she moved to Vienna, where she left the Jewish religious community around 1936. On 6 February 1941 she probably took her own life in Vienna in view of the increasing persecution.
