Sat, 10. May 2014, 17:00-18:00 Being Jewish in Hohenems and Habsburg Thematical guided tour in the permament exhibition for the Emsiana festival

Walk with us through the permament exhibition and explore the traces of the Habsburg empire. The Jews of Hohenems became Habsburg Jews not by their own will – their world of life evolved in a political space between Switzerland, Southern Germany and the Habsburg empire. They crossed borders – inside and outside of Habsburg and became pioneers of a “Vorarlberg identity” at the same time.
